Grounded Hoop: works with an aerial hoop less than a metre off the floor to create floor to hoop spins, sequenses and transitions. It can be beneficial to students at all stages of learning, to build confidence, and creativity. The majority of the moves that learned are adapted from classic Aerial hoop, and are modified to connect them with the floor. Grounded hoop can be beneficial for students who can not yet basic invert in aerial hoop , help them become more confident with the equipment, grips and transitions, become more familiar with the equipment, moves, spins etc and it is a good start for those who don’t like working at heights.
